Our Story
Aimee and Rae met in 2019 at a Birmingham Rep workshop for Rae’s play Bright Places. A firm friendship was formed, and from there they began collaborating on creative projects as co-writers.
Most recently, they were commissioned by Birmingham Rep to write and compose Chase Tales, and they are currently developing their first joint TV pilot.
Although they love writing together, Aimee and Rae also continue to work independently and are both alumni of Midlands BBC Writers' Room schemes.
In 2025, they teamed up with Tom Ward to launch Story Engine Birmingham, a platform supporting writing, acting, and directing talent.
