CHASE TALES - Birmingham Rep - writer | composer | performer

Chase Tales was written with co-writer Rae Mainwaring. We were commissioned by  Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles to write stories and songs  about Cannock Chase for a re-vamp of their popular heritage trail.   Chase Tales will be launched in Spring 2024. I also got to play Winnie, the narrator and Rae makes a cameo as a chatty vole!

SPOON IN A JAR - narrator | singer

Over the moon (quite literally)  to be part of the storytelling team for Spoon in a Jar productions.  Author and musician Jo Walter and illustrator and musician Ning-ning Li have written incredible stories and they're all performed with new and original music.  You can see more and buy the books here.

BRIGHT PLACES - Birmingham Rep - Actor

Bright Places  is a semi autobiographical  piece about being diagnosed with MS in your 20s, written by Rae Mainwaring and directed by Tessa Walker.  It was wonderful to be part of the development of this piece, can't wait to see where it goes next!

BRECHT AND EISLER'S THE DECISION - Birmingham Opera Company - performer

Spring 2023 - employed by Birmingham Opera Company to perform in their ground breaking production of The Decision, Directed by Anthony Almeida. Birmingham Opera Company are experts at taking over a non theatre space and transforming it into something wonderful. Learn more about the piece here

MY NAME IS LEON - BBC/Douglas Road Productions -  Tina

I play Tina in My Name is Leon based on the best selling book by Birmingham writer Kit de Waal. Brilliant experience being directed by Lynette Linton (who was nominated for BAFTA for this very job!)  The cast was incredible -  Shobna Gulati, Monica Dolan, Poppy Lee Friar, Malachi Kirby, Cole Martin, Olivia Williams, Christopher Eccleston, all made possible by and starring Sir Lenny Henry.  See the trailer here.

MAMA - writer | performer 

Back from maternity leave, mom finds her self lumbered with a big boy band she can't control and a deceased Grandmother who won't let the past lie. 

MAMA is a one woman one boy band show made possible with support from  Notnow Productions, Birmingham Rep and Arts Council England.  Directed by Sarah Hamilton Baker, dramaturgy by Tessa Walker.
